Inventory Control Clerk

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a 1st Shift, Inventory Control Clerk to join our VALUES-based organization. Starting rate $23-$25/hr based on experience.

In this role you will:

  • Perform cycle counts as per schedules, analyze root causes of inventory discrepancies and provide resolutions.
  •  
    Assist with preparation of physical inventory at year-end.
  •  
    Assist Inventory Supervisor with investigations on inaccurate inventories as found by normal cycle count & frozen bin process.
  •  
    Assist Inventory Supervisor with identifying process improvements in all activities related to inventory management.
  •  
    Follow up of BOM issues causing inventory discrepancies.
  •  
    Assist Inventory Supervisor with daily dock audits, investigate discrepancies, and follow up with warehouse, shipping, and customer
    service as necessary.
  •  
    Clerical function of fixing errors related to overbuilt issues, and other transactional errors (systematic adjustments/cycle counts).
  •  
    Evaluate negative inventories, investigate and correct.
  •  
    Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards.
  •  
    Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:  Forklift/order picker certification required, swing reach certification a plus.
  •  
    Computer Skills: Warehouse Management System, Handheld Scanners, Excel
